Jr. Eagles 2024-25 Dues & Player Packs

GOLD & BLUE Teams:

$400 - Players will be given  2 practice t-shirts, 1 pair of spandex, 1 pair of socks & 1 set of knee pads. A player pack order form will be available upon registration. A jersey will be given to them and must be returned at the end of season.

WHITE Team:

$175 - This is a lower cost due to the fact that this team will NOT receive official uniforms or play regular tournaments. The White Team will receive 2 practice t-shirts with the option to buy a team sweatshirt for $35. They will have 1-2 weekly practices and scrimmages and 1 match during the season. The goal is to allow those interested in the sport that don't make the Gold or Blue team to learn the sport and get better to then make the Gold/Blue or High School team the following year.

PAYMENTS:

Full payment is required upon making the team in July
The fee assists in covering the $25,000+ in expenses associated with running three teams and the facilities for the season. The Etowah Volleyball program is a self-sustaining program dependent upon support from our volleyball family and the community.
All player fees MUST be paid via credit card, thru our SportsEngine website. .
The Eagles Volleyball Booster Club (EVBC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation in the State of Georgia.

Any payment related questions can be directed to our Booster Club Board by emailing them at: etowahevbc@gmail.com

Once payment is made, players will order and be given above stated player pack items. A player pack order form will be available during their registration as a new team member.

A fee of $100 per jersey will be assessed if not returned in usable condition.

Volunteering

Parent volunteering is a huge part of our program's success. All parents are expected to volunteer, whether it be at the volleyball games on the floor, taking on a “lead” role below or working in the concession stand. Our games cannot run smoothly without the help of our parents. We will need scorekeepers, line judges, score flipper or libero tracker at home games and also to help out at away games. We will also need concession stand volunteers at our home games for the High School. In addition to helping at the games, we also need a few parents who are willing to be in charge of the committees listed below:

Team Parent – works with the EVBC (Etowah Volleyball Booster Club) your specific coach and communicates all information from the coach to your team regarding weekly game updates, practice changes, making sure food coordinator, concessions and workstations are all covered by those in charge of those items

Food Coordinator – works with the team parent to make sure pre-game meals are scheduled, ordered and delivered to the girls at school before Home AND Away games

Concessions – work with the Treasurer to order all drinks, buy food and schedule parent volunteers to work home games, Freshman & JV for Varsity and vice versa

Workstation Coordinator – schedules parents for each station needed for home and away games - we have a SUG (Sign up Genius) where parents can sign up but if parents don't volunteer, then you can assign parents to each job/date and then you distribute to all parents - if a parent can’t do their job that day, they are responsible for finding someone to replace them

End of Year Party Coordinator – work with the Treasurer to organize and set up for the End of Year party

We will have sign-up sheets at "Spike Night". Please have your calendars ready to sign up where you can - Thank you!!

HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS

Estimated roster size will be between 12 to 15 players.
We will be placing the best players on this team regardless of grade or previous team placement.

Teams will practice between 2 and 4 times per week IN ADDITION to participating in matches & tournaments.  Matches will be scheduled both during the week and the weekends.

Attendance at all team functions is REQUIRED.

Equal play time is NOT guaranteed. The High School teams will play each match to win. Players will prove themselves and earn their starting spots based off of many factors including but not limited to: in game performance, practice performance, attitude, sportsmanship, effort and attendance at team functions.

Play time is NOT given based off of what grade the player is in.
Example, just because a player is a senior does not mean they get play time.
